Simply plug into a 13 amp socket and the mains tester will check the following: neutral connections, earth connections, reversal of live/earth connections, non-connection of either live or neutral. Particularly important for touring on the continent when reversed polarity may be encountered.
Specification: 240 volt AC. For use in 13 amp outlets to BS1363.
